1. Wrap a piece of string or a strip of paper around your finger
2. Mark the point where the two ends meet
3. Measure the string or paper against a ruler to get the circumference of your finger
4. Divide that by 3.14 to get the diameter of your finger
5. Round down to the closest ring size (it's easier expand the ring to make it larger)

Ensure you check the ruler measurement to make sure your printer doesn't shrink or enlarge the page.

You can use the measurements below to check with your local jeweller:

• Small Ring Diameter: 16mm NZ Ring Size: K
• Medium Ring Diameter: 18mm NZ Ring Size: P
• Large Ring Diameter: 20mm NZ Ring Size: U

In many cases, the measurement of your smallest (pinky) finger is roughly 2mm smaller than your fourth (ring) finger.

You can measure the diameter of your wedding band or a similar ring, subtract 2mm, and compare the result to the measurements from Method Five.

This won't be accurate, but sometimes a guess is best!
